Strange, can you try any other Mini-USB cable by chance?

Sometimes a cable can partially work, could explain your problems.

hi guy today i tried connecting my old psp 3006 model to my window 10 computer but no matter what i did it cannot be reached on the psp it say please wait and that it . Things i tried using different usb ports and that it .I can tell that the cable is detected correctly because when i plug it out it say connect to a pc or ps3. But when i plug back in it just say please wait and nothing happen. So i was wondering if window 10 no longer support psp ? any answer will be get thx

Try waiting longer? That would be my only guess.

Make sure to enable USB Mode.

These PSP's do not automagically do that properly, just go all the way to the left on the XMB & then select the top option in the settings If I recall correctly

Awesome to see some PSP users on the LTT forums, those things still pack quite a bit of fun ;)

Does the computer give you any prompts? You can also try seeing if you can manually install the necessary software.

Does it show up in device manager at all?
