Hello guys, and thanks for any replies upfront :)
Now i'm going to touch on a highly debated topic.... I have a i7-7700 non K, and its ridiculously hot.... BF1 makes the cpu squeal at 80+ degrees. Now to clarify i'm not a new guy that knows next to nothing about pc's. I work in IT and have built around 4 pc's for myself and god knows how many for customers... Now im running a DeepCool Assassin II and to no avail... So i'm finally thinking about going AIO (i have had one previous encounter with a Kraken x52 for a day and the results were good) Now what im interested in is the fail rate of AIO's mainly leakage... Any thoughts, advice and so on is greatly valued.

AIO failure so long as you buy something decent like an H100i is very rare. Avoid Cooler Master's AIOs, they're really bad

Very seldom do they fail or leak. My Kraken X61 is 2 years strong, one of my friends has a 5 year old h100i, and my brother has a 3 year old Kraken X60. My buddy even got a corsair h50 and I helped him install it (this was before I had my AIO and had no experience with such) and I screwed straight through the radiator fins, luckily I missed the water channels, as it still doesn't leak to this day. He asked me a few months afterwards if I knew anything about the metal shavings in a particular corner of the rad, I politely denied it >:D

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

Unless you buy Cooler Master AIOs. They're infamous for having pump failiures

I'm going to completely avoid Deepcool Captain's because i know how bad they can be.... I dont wanna drown a gtx 1070 ti that's been used 1 week...

Feel free to avoid the Captains if you want but they're good AIOs, certainly better than the Cooler Master ML240L that I see recommended all the time for some reason. The H100i is one of if not the  best 240MM AIO although if you're gonna get a 280 I'd recommend the EVGA  280 CLC

Corsair is fantastic if you want reliability.

Not if you don't manhandle the components

Yeah i did think about that actually... guessing they are just pretty rough with the tubing and the mounting.
Does Corsair have a international warranty support? If something does happen i mean :)

I have a 4 year old H115i GTX on my i7 7700k and it maxes out at 60C underload on the cores, this is at stock with turbo at 1.125v. I do know Corsair has warranty support for North America.

I'd vote for the corsairs as great AIOs. Fitted them in several workstations (the 280mm rad one) that have been running at least 8 hours a day 5 days a week for several years without issue.  Better performance than all but the silliest of air coolers although not as good performance as custom water cooling and much simpler if you need quick and easy maintenance.

My main rig is custom water cooled with rigid tubing.  Have some instability and need to do a strip down/ test everything and rebuild but have been putting it of for 3 months as its going to be such a nightmare...

A little update to my situation :D
Decided not to get a AIO and just went and delidded my CPU with Liquid Metal. Now the max temps i have are 57 witch is hecking great!
BUT disaster struck.... found out that the instability ive had with the pc was from 2 bent pins in the right middle section of the cpu socket.. Tried to correct that and re-structure the contacts but alas Mem channels 1 and 2 are dead now... So need a new motherboard but Oh Well :D The main mission of getting the cpu nice and cold was acomplished... I will be getting a AIO preferably a Corsair one down the road but for now i need a new Asus motherboard :)

Thanks to all of you guys that commented!

Ouch that has to hurt, btw have you tried warranty on the board ? alot of time the manufacturer just replaces the board unless there is obvious signs of tampering... if the pins are slighty bent and not something that is blatently obvious they might just replace it !

Yeah i dont think so, the tech store i work in has a policy of fuck the workers the customers are first (which is a good policy for customers but a tad frustrating at times for employed workers). BTW started a new topic in troubleshooting

Failures are a pretty low risk that just increases until the expiration date of your AIO (normally 3-5 years). That being said you can take most of the risk out of the equation by buying from a good company.

The reason for this is the following. Warranty! All of the big name brands offer a warranty that not only covers the AIO, but also cover any components that are damaged by that AIO in the event it leaks.

So just buy from a good company and you will be covered regardless of what happens.
