Best coming flagship?

I am looking for a upgrade to my very dated s6 active, with all the new flagships set to launch is it worth the wait for the pixel 3xl, note 9, or even the s10 and features like 5g. Personally right now im leaning toward the Samsung note 9 or galaxy s9+ as they are coming soonest or already here, what do you think?

5G is not coming to the US any time soon and in any real capacity. Just fyi. Not sure where you live but 5G should only be a factor if you are in a country with modern cell infrastructure.

Don't forget about iphones too.  I convinced a coworker to upgrade from a S7 to a 8+ (I jumped from S7e to 6S+) because iOS is better than Android in most of the things you want from a phone.  All day battery life?  Better.  Performance?  Better.  Updates?  Better.  Resale value?  Better.  With the new X phones coming in a few months you'll probably be able to pick up an 8+ at a good price, and it's a great phone.

Workstation:  14700nonK || Asus Z790 ProArt Creator || MSI Gaming Trio 4090 Shunt || Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB @ 5600 || Corsair AX1600i@240V || whole-house loop.

LANRig/GuestGamingBox: 13700K @ Stock || MSI Z690 DDR4 || ASUS TUF 3090 650W shunt || Corsair SF600 || CPU+GPU watercooled 280 rad pull only || whole-house loop.

Server Router (Untangle): 13600k @ Stock || ASRock Z690 ITX || All 10Gbe || 2x8GB 3200 || PicoPSU 150W 24pin + AX1200i on CPU|| whole-house loop

Server Compute/Storage: 10850K @ 5.1Ghz || Gigabyte Z490 Ultra || EVGA FTW3 3090 1000W || LSI 9280i-24 port || 4TB Samsung 860 Evo, 5x10TB Seagate Enterprise Raid 6, 4x8TB Seagate Archive Backup ||  whole-house loop.

@AnonymousGuy

Are you sure? I currently have an iPhone 66+ but a lot of things are not better. Not with iOS 11.

I can't get into Apple, i cant stand the how basic iOS is and i prefer Google products even if iMessage is by far superior. Plus those bezels on the 8+ are kinda ugly

I wouldn't say it has the best battery life. Best standby life yes (aka, just lying around don't touch it).

But when you use it? Mediocre. Nothing special. The Plus model is fine, but the 4.7" models are quite bad in battery life.

Best battery life in a smartphone you will find on an Android phone, sorry. That's what every Review / Test / battery life comparison will show you.

There are some, who had better performance experiences with a Pixel 2 XL, than an iPhone X tho on Youtube, they said "it runs better without any trouble" while the iPhone X gave them some problems.

No, iOS is NOT better than Android. It has it's pros, and it has it's cons. Which are weighted how much for you, depends what's important for you.
