Does GameStop sell Amazon gift cards?

TopWargamer

Basically for Christmas I got a $50 GameStop gift card. While yes this was a very awesome gift, I don't have much need for it since I don't buy games from GameStop anymore.
(I used another GameStop gift card to get a Steam Wallet card, so I'm good for the sale.)

I was Googling around online if GameStop sold Amazon gift cards (or at least the redeemable code) and some places said that they did, and some say that they don't. Does anybody know if they do? Because if so, I'm just gonna convert this GameStop credit into Amazon credit.

No. I solved my issue of $45 in GameStop cards by giving them to my sister in exchange for cash. Try to find someone to trade the card for cash.

Hm, ok. And just saying, but the reason why I'm asking is because I came across this thread on the CheapAssGamer forums.

So it sounds like if I just go up to the register and ask for $25 in Amazon credit, they'll give me a code for it on the receipt. I may have a friend or 2 who would be willing to swap money for the gift card, but I think I'm gonna try going up to the register and asking.
