Hi, I need a laptop for editing

I'll be using premiere pro, after effects and illustrator

Premier pro 1080p

Cutting clips together

Adding text

Adding audio

After effects

Animating logos

Illustrator

Designing logos

My budget is £1000

Either pre built laptops or custom made, whatever can get me the best performance for what I need

Thx

best performance

Your budget is a bit low. These are what I've found across many UK websites. Note that all gaming laptops need undervolting.

8750H+1060 6GB:

Spoiler

1. PCSpecialist Vyper / CyberpowerPC Tracer III VR (TongFang GJ5CN6E)

2. PCSpecialist Recoil II (TongFang GK5CN6Z) - thin and light

3. PCSpecialist Optimus IX (Clevo N850EP6) - mediocre cooling and OKish build quality, needs repaste

4. Dell G5 - entry level FHD IPS, over budget

7700HQ+1060 6GB:

Spoiler

1. Dell 7577 - 1060MQ needs tuning, entry level FHD IPS

2. Lenovo Y720 - may need repaste, entry level FHD IPS

Yes it can be SATA, I just prefere m.2 Samsung for its read and write speed @just tilt,

Most users won't benefit from NVMe SSDs, stick with SATA SSD. Manual upgrades are usually cheaper
