I have a gtx 760 in a gigabyte h16m-ds2 motherboard running on pci express 2.0 x16, 8gb g skill ripjaws 1333mhz ram, 1 wd caviar blue 500gb for os and other stuff, 1 wd caviar blue 500gb for only games, cooler master extreme power plus 500w psu and a i3 2120 cpu. Can there be more than the cpu causing bottlenecks here? i get poor preformance with my 760 in games.

By poor i mean: a 5 fps increase from my hd 7770, still get under 60fps on borderlands 2 @ low settings @ 1080p.

You have to define "poor" for us. Sometimes the game can be unoptimized, and sometimes it could be driver issues and other software.

What kind of performance numbers are you getting and with what games? If I took a wild guess it would most likely be the i3, but it's always good to be absolutely sure.
