Neither of the units you listed seem terribly good.

I would look for an EVGA Supernova G3 personally.

I would love to but as of now budget is what making me choose among those, Also I in 2 state of minds as to whether am I going overkill with 750W or 850W, since cooler master PSU calculator says the max output ill need is 385W and recommended is 435W. So the recommended PSU from them is of 650W.

Might end up getting 650W Cooler Master power supply since its in budget + supports my requirement.

@Crunchy Dragon Your take on this?

What are your system specs? An 850W PSU is appropriate for 1080Tis in SLI, not your FX4350 system.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

The Cooler Master PSU Calculator is garbage. Don't use it. Cooler Master even has monetary incentive to exaggerate how much power your system needs.

I have mentioned my system spec on my signature. Anyways here they are

CPU: AMD FX(tm)-4350 @4.2GHz

MoBo: 970 PRO GAMING/AURA

Ram: 2x8GB HyperX FURY 8GB 1600MHz DDR3

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

PSU: Corsair VS550Watt

HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda + 1TB WD green

CPU Cooler: JONSBO CPU AIR COOLER - CR-201 RED LED

Display: LG 24MP88HV-S 24-inch Slim IPS

Now I know 850W is a overkill, just want to secure myself since ill be upgrading to ryzen system+ new motherboard+ 32 GB (Need this for some of VM work i need to do from time to time).

so will 650W do with coming soon future upgrade? or should i go for 750W power supply?

Even 550W will be fine with future upgrades.

You would be fine with a 450W PSU...

A Ryzen CPU will likely use less power than your current 4350, your GPU uses about 120W, 32GB of RAM uses very little and DDR4 uses quite a lot less than DDR3...

What I'm saying is that, unless you plan to SLI two GPUs, you don't need a high-wattage PSU. I run my highly OC'd Ryzen 1700X and 970 on a 550W PSU.  Read an old status update of mine if you want to know how much power the system used.

Look at the PSU tier list in my sig, look for something T3 or higher, 450W is fine, 550W allows for room for something like an OC'd 1080 Ti.

Get a good quality 550W instead.

There is no need to go over that.

And since you don't seem to do much overclocking, its even enough for a VEGA64.

Watt gives you nothin, better quality gives you everything.

is this one ok Cooler Master MWE GOLD 550W (link: http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/80-plus/mwe-gold-550-full-modular/)

will this be enough for some minor OC with future ryzen cpu.

You could overclock as much as you like with both an 2700X and your 1060 and you'd still have 200W+ of headroom left. You're fine with that unit.

I'm using a 550W with _TWO_ Radeon 7970GHz/280x and it still has a couple of Watts left.
