Unable to create a storage pool in WIN 10

I am trying to run a TS128GSSD370 and a Kingston SV300S37A120G in a raid 0 to allow me to install ARK with more mods without having to buy a new and larger SSD. When I click create pool in Storage spaces it just comes up with an error saying check connections? Can anyone help me please.

The drives have had everything, including partitions deleted

Well considering I said what drives they were in the post no they are not.

I tried it when they had unallocated space and allocated space although no data was on them

try making the storage spaces array in powershell then, the windows 10 gui sucks.

thats not storage spces, don't use that

I have no idea how to use powershell. Just trying to combine them in a raid 0

storage spaces is desgined to let you use different drives.

Drives are good. I have been using them for ages with no issues. I can't use any other SATA ports are 5+6 are disabled thanks to a 4x NVME SSD.

try making the pool with one drive, you can add the second later.

Well trying to make it with just the TS drive was an instant error. Trying only the Kingston still gave an error...

Ok, it made them into dynamic disks and is now formatting thank you. Is there a way I can test the speed after they are done? What would be like an average speed

since this is spanned its about the same speed as a single drive. You can use something like crystal disk mark. Since these are different sized I went spanned not striped to give you the most space as speed won't matter for game storage.
