Is there any downsides USB A-to-B cable ?

UsernamePassword

Hi

I found a USB Splitter that I want to buy,

I can see that it uses a USB A-to-B cable from the switch dock.

Is there any downsides going from USB A to B instead of just USB A to A?

There is no difference in speed, bandwidth etc. except for a different physical interface (= connector)

If memory serves, B type connectors are intended for peripheral devices. One commonly sees the connector on printers.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
