So I have two z170 motherboards, two computers, a 6600k and a g4560. I had recently bought the g4560 in order to put in the second z170. Knowing that it was kaby lake, I performed what I thought was a bios update on the target z170 motherboard. The computer was running fine when I used the 6600k in the updated motherboard.

This is where the problem comes in: when I installed the g4560, I lost video output. However, it should be mentioned that the fans still turn on and it appears to be working. I originally thought I may have updated to a newer, but still outdated, bios. So I slapped the working 6600k back in and nothing. The fans still turn on but I don't have any video.

The monitor appears fine, I tested the cables, I tried with a gpu and without, but I just can't get a videos output. Is it possible that I bricked the motherboard or did some irreversible damage by putting the g4560 in the computer? I'm just hoping that this is fixable.
