240W PSU , please help me

Diarrrrrrr

I want to be sure you understand what I'm talking about first.  This model would NOT work: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487299

This one would though: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137090

There are a few models out there that are clocked so high that they require additional power beyond the 75W that a PCIe slot provides.  I doubt your power supply would support that, even if it had the appropriate connector.

Edit: I can't tell for sure if that's a low profile case, but if it is then you'll have to get a low profile model.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!

Neither of these would work, he has an SFF case he needs one of these.

You're right, I didn't see the case when I posted.  I was just thinking about power consumption.

Wrong direction... the card you are looking at is too tall, not too long, so you would need to cut a hole in the side of your case for it to fit.

Gigabyte and MSI make low profile cards.

i had a 790 with a 2600 and 1050ti and it ran fine on 240w

i have a 7010 with a 3550 and a 1050ti and it runs fine on 240w

you won’t have an issue.

sorry, the gpu was a 1050ti in both cases as mentioned. The 790 and 7010 were the pc model numbers, sorry I didn’t add “Dell”. And the 2600 and 3550 were the cpu model numbers, Intel i5 and i7 chips. Both pc’s are sff models.

Also instead of cutting, just buy the low profile gpu version. No cutting needed.
