2600 or 2600x for 500$ upgrade?

Go to solution Solved by Crunchy Dragon,

You can get a B350 motherboard instead of waiting for B450.

Most should ship with a compatible BIOS by now.

In terms of CPUs: 2600x = overclocked 2600. If you're fine with overclocking manually, get the 2600. If you're not fine with overclocking and want higher speeds out of the box, get the 2600x.

Hello everyone,

I want to upgrade my pc in a few months, i am now using a FX4350 so i really need some new hardware.

I am looking for an b450 mobo (not yet released), 16gb corsair ram and a ryzen 2600 or 2600x.

I dont really know which one to get, can someone help me out?
