Ryzen ram compatibility

Go to solution Solved by Christophe Corazza,

Yes, those RAM modules work fine.

However, Ryzen appears to benefit from higher RAM speeds due to its 'Infinity Fabric'. I would suggest going for a higher RAM speed instead, something like 3000 MHz (or above) would already be a nice improvement.

So I need a ram upgrade and I found this amazing deal for 16gb ddr4 2666mhz ram that has LEDS, are they compatible with my ryzen 7 1700 and my asus b350 prime plus (bios updated) ?

The ram is 473 dirhams which equals to about $120

ram compatibility is no longer a major issue on Ryzen(and hasnt been for almost a year).

but like @Christophe Corazzasaid, its greatly benefits from higher speed ram(and its very noticeable) i'd suggest 3000+MHz
