I wouldn't buy it until you upgrade your pc. You likely won't see a difference with that cpu.

Firestrike
i7-8700k @5.0GHz w/ 1.30v, Corsair h100iv2, Gigabye Aorus gaming 7, 16GB(8x2) 2666MHz ddr4, Dual RX470's OC'd to 1390mhz(atm) in corssfire - liguid cooled with corsair h60's, 3.25 TB in Samsung SSD's, anidees white crystal cube case

Retired:
i5-4440k @3.2GHz, gigabyte ga-z87x-ud5h z87, 24GB DDR3, 3x1TB Seagate Baracuda HDD.

What bottlenecks depends on the Game + Settings.

Maybe your GPU will not be bottlenecked at all, maybe it will run at 60% only. Depends.

But a GTX 1050 ti is a good fit for your A8 5600k, in terms of price / performance ratio.

Still: If you would like 1080p gaming, 60 fps Target, and higher settings, even a GTX 1060 6gb would be perfectly fine with it.

Don't view CPU + GPU together too much. See them as completely seperate:

It doesn't matter if you put in a GTX 1050 or a Titan Xp, this does NOT Change the amount of fps, your CPU can deliver.

You won't get magically higher fps with a stronger GPU - but you could transform the "additional GPU-Power" into better Image quality.

You can use 1050 ti and Medium, or get up to a GTX 1060 6gb, and have similar fps, but with high or even very High settings.

The question is more likely: Does your CPU deliver enough fps for YOU?
