Disable Windows garbage?

So I went to update Windows and it installed and I tried to literally just watch a video I downloaded and it said to ask for permission to use TV and Movies. I already hate windows, so at that point I just want to disable as many things in possible in windows so my computer can run fucking smoothly and not have all of this random crap in general. I had to login to my dads (he doesnt even use it the email associated with it is long gone) account and force myself to use TV and Movies. I just want a Windows 7 experience back again and make my Windows experience actually enjoyable. (I will start by disabling the update service).

My windows updates all the time and I've never had it whine about permissions to watch a video.

because for some reason im in a microsoft "family" and i guess it classified me as a "child" so I had to deal with that shit and Im just done with Windows 10 as a whole

Windows 7 doesn't have any issues like that, and is significantly more secure and stable than Windows 10 is.

You dont use VLC? I never even knew windows has a TV and movies app. 

I dont think I ever use the apps in windows besides photo viewer. Changing the default apps for file extensions is pretty easy though.
