Cpu Temp High on Customloop

Hi,

 

A week ago i finally got a customloop. (240+360 rads)

And my gpu temp seemed fine. (Around 40c on load)

But my cpu is reaching 80c. 

I tried reseating the cpu waterblock, made sure the nuts are as tight as they can go and reapplyed the thermal compound but no improvement.

Specs:

i7 4770k 1.225V 4.2 Ghz

CPU loop pump dead / fans not spinning / somewhere leaking coolant?

Cinebench R15 Single thread:168 Multi-thread: 833 

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

Air pocket could also be the cause.

less likely. Air pocket in the coolant can cause bouncy temps, but not consistently high temps. In the thermal paste... then that's a really bad application.

Since your GPU temps are good, your loop itself is working fine. So the problem must be the heat transfer from the CPU to the water.

Which block are you using? Have the temperatures been better before? Is the CPU delidded? Are you using the correct I/O on the block?

Its a Supremacy evo, i used to be able to get better temps on my NH D14, the cpu is not delidded and im using the correct I/O ports on the block.

So i did a quick 5 min stres stest in aida.
