get an MX500 instead of the WD blue SSD, and 2x16gb instead of 4x8gb(assuming you actually needed that much to begin with). rest is fine though i'd get a cooler without those ugly fans.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

makes upgrading in the future much easier. you won't get any benefit with 4 sticks anyway.

Join the Appleitionist cause! See spoiler below for answers to common questions that shouldn't be common!

Spoiler

Q: Do I have a virus?!
A: If you didn't click a sketchy email, haven't left your computer physically open to attack, haven't downloaded anything sketchy/free, know that your software hasn't been exploited in a new hack, then the answer is: probably not.

Q: What email/VPN should I use?
A: Proton mail and VPN are the best for email and VPNs respectively. (They're free in a good way)

Q: How can I stay anonymous on the (deep/dark) webzz???....

A: By learning how to de-anonymize everyone else; if you can do that, then you know what to do for yourself.

Q: What Linux distro is best for x y z?

A: Lubuntu for things with little processing power, Ubuntu for normal PCs, and if you need to do anything else then it's best if you do the research yourself.

Q: Why is my Linux giving me x y z error?

A: Have you not googled it? Are you sure StackOverflow doesn't have an answer? Does the error tell you what's wrong? If the answer is no to all of those, message me.

Get a 2700 instead of 2700x and get a 50 dollar cooler and overclock it.

Yes, the stock cooler is pretty and does a decent job, but at the end of the day, its a stock cooler. A dedicated aftermarket cooler will do much better

Yeah, then dont go with the 2700x.

Plus get a be quiet cooler. Noctua's look ugly, and yeah be quiet is a little worse performing, but youre not really cooling a threadripper, so the temperature difference will be unnoticable.

I would not go with a 550 W PSU for a build like this. An R7 and a 1080ti are high power parts. I would go with 650W as a good wattage for this build
