So my aunt has windows 8.1 on her laptop. The language is in korean and I can barely read korean myself. Anyway it was acting slow, and I thought I was doing a PC refresh for her, but when it was over all her programs that were installed were gone. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. All her data was still there. How do I restore all programs that were previously installed? i'd appreciate any help. thanks in advance

It's kinda obvious... Download it again

omg why didn't i think of that?!

but before that, just wondering, if it's possible to have the pc just reinstall everything or bring it back to an earlier state without us having to individually install them all back 1 by 1.

hahahaha

And no, i dont think you can reinstall all those programs at once. Im pretty sure if you reinstall one program, it will go to its original state (if the files are still there)

What version of Office did your aunt had on her laptop?

The PC can install all the Office programs at once.

You can roll back a system restore/system refresh within 30 days.

I don't remember offhand how to do it but Google will certainly have the answer.

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

This can be bigger problem than just downloading stuff again. If Office was early version, lets say up to 2013, the keys aren't connected to BIOS nor Windows account. Meaning that While you can install them again, they will be only trials without keys. You could have retrieved keys before refreshing and just re-enter when installing again.

True, that's why I've asked:
