Reliable SSD

So I scraped up some money and I want to buy a SSD just for booting. I've been looking at a few and I see reviews all over the place. So I'm just wondering what you guys know and can recommend. I just want a fast and reliable drive that isn't over 50$. Thanks.

I've heard good  things about the Crucial MX300 line, they're pretty good bang for buck.

120GB Crucial BX300 is my suggestion. A bigger capacity would stretch your budget.

big brand, and its a ssd. Speeds will be much faster than any hdd.

Slower than the Crucial BX300, but should be decent.

The Sandisk SSD Plus is slow. If you're in that price range, you should spend the extra dollar and get the faster Sandisk Ultra 3D.

there have been many bad ssd models that died early or had latency spikes or other issues. This was mostly true in older ssds though.

Samsung SSD's are pretty good, but a tab bit more expensive, but they do give 5 years warranty

pretty sure he was making a play on words, not commenting on actual reliability. "solid" state drive...
