Put screws (They should have come with the case) in the holes from the second picture. You might have to shift the graphics card to get them to fit though.

Push it up a little bit so the screw holes align. The weight of a graphics card can make it bend downward.

That’s what I thought! But it just spins forever...

Then you might be using the wrong screws, or the screw isn't aligned properly.

Then you're using the wrong screws. You need coarse threaded screws, the same kind that you used on the power supply.

This part is concerning me. Is part of the bracket sticking out? It should all be inside the case.

As other have said before me, you are probably using the wrong screws. Look into the case's manual and it will tell you which of the included screws should be used here.

Mid Tower - NZXT Noctis 450 | Asus Z270 Maximus IX Hero | Intel Core i7-7700K delid 5GHz @ 1.32V | NZXT Kraken X62 AiO | Corsair Vengeance LED 3200MHz CL16 | ASUS ROG Strix GTX1080 (a8g) | Corsair RM850 | Samsung 960 EVO NVMe SSD 500GB | WD Blue 4TB

Ah, I was on my phone and the small screen made it difficult.  Now that I'm on my computer it's obvious, but the bottom screw hole looked like part of the brace.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!

It worked on one  hole but not the other. It’ll do. There’s not much sag now.

Try the screws on an empty slot, if they work here, try them on the part where there is the GPU (without the GPU if you want to make it easy).

One of the screw thread may have been damaged and the screw not screwing in.
