Hiya folks

I am a long time viewer of LTT but first time posting on the forums and would like some advice on headsets, please.

Basically what I am looking for is a Headset for use in a Livingroom so that I can hear my games and videos etc but the wife cannot, also I am looking for a set that would block out the noise of a TV and soap operas in particular :P

My max budget is £150 - £200 GBP.

Now the set I am looking at, at the moment is the Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC, Over-Ear Wireless Headphone with Active Noise Cancellation.

Can you foresee any problems with these or have an alternate suggestion?

Thanks in advance

Link top amazon for the headset is https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-HD-4-50-Headphone-Cancellation-Black/dp/B01MSZSL4I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1526494259&sr=8-1&keywords=Sennheiser+HD+4.50+BTNC

Active noise cancellation certainly helps to muffle loud environmental noises further than possible by normal closed design. (especialle lower frequency noise)

But active noise cancellation isn't really used by higher quality headphones.

And even less of those are wireless if you want wireless ones.

So do you want them to be wireless or are sitting in front of PC?

The wireless isn't a necessity since I am sat right by the computer. It just so happens that the ones with ANC tend to be wireless.

i'll have to disagree with that, actually you will especially find higher end wireless headphones to be with active noise cancellation.

They may not be considered high end compared to regular cable bound completely analog headphones but they certainly are for what they are supposed to be.
