Just a quick question for anyone who knows, do you think I could remove the "Xtreme Gaming" Logo from a Gigabyte GTX 1070 Xtreme Gaming and replace it with a custom logo with my own text for cool RGB effect? I have a friend who could (try no guarantees) make a custom one with a 3d printer, im just asking would that melt, look good, and if it would melt or look bad with the LEDs is there anything else I could use? I know its a specific question but I think It would really make my build look very nice aesthetically. Thanks to all answers. :)

The badge is probably glued into place or screwed in place from the back the best would be to take off the shroud to inspect. As for making a custom one a 3D printer logo or one made from acrylic and a vinyl stencil would also work well. It might be possible to reuse the old lighting module.

Definitely doable, and it'd be unlikely to melt unless he prints it in really cheap, shitty PLA. See if you can download a 3D model of your exact graphics card, and mess around with designs in a 3D modelling program to see what you like before you make irreversible changes.

I was already considering purchasing acrylic and vinyl decals with plasti dip spray for a custom back plate so that works out, I think Ill check it out and see what I can do with a few tools. Thanks!

Here's a teardown of the 1080ti version of the card not exactly the same but quite similar cooler design, unfortunately it doesn't go into the shroud but will at least get you access to the LED logos.
