Hey there guys I would just like to know, why does my Bootcamp Windows not detect the intel graphics card? Also, I am thinking of FULLY installing Windows on my Mac, do you think it will detect the intel graphics card then, because the BIGGEST issue is currently the fact it can detect, and because of this only using the nvidia card gives me 1-2 hour battery life on normal usage(browsing, reading), whereas there is 6 hours of battery life in the mac side.

I am using the Macbook Pro 15" Retina 2013, top spec one. If anyone can help me, or if anyone here has FULLY installed windows in their mac, do reply!

EDIT: Also, if I install FULLY windows, and I want to change it back to windows/mac, how do I do it? And does the FULLY windows detect mac function keys(change brightness, keyboard backlight etc)?

I don't know you actual needs for windows. But here is what I do... I run a preview of windows 8.1 in parallels.. On there, I have installed the few applications that I need which does not have a Mac version, (MathCad & some other stuff).

This enables me to run Mathcad "mirrored" to mac, so I get the window from windows, in my mac desktop, and can work directly from there. Windows runs in the background to run the actual application. And when I'm done using that application, it shuts down windows. And because I'm on an SSD, the load times are not horrible.

Ofcourse you might need the whole windows system, and for detecting your integrated graphics I'm not too sure what the problem is. Bootcamp should make it all compatible.

Everyone have a cool signature. I don't, so I thought I would write something.

- Cool right?

Yet it doesn't :(

If you want to replace it entirely, why did you buy a mac in the first place? xD

Anyway, Lookup on apple forums. I'm sure others have had the same problem as you :)
