You need DDR4 for Ryzen.

You probably do not need a mouse mat. Never had needed one for any of my mouses to track properly.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Ryzen cannot run DDR3, unfortunately. You'd have to splurge (unfortunately) on a DDR4 kit :(
Also, the 2400G comes with a cooler.

Also, you can reduce the 128GB SSD (crazy ikr) if you don't have insane stuff to load all the time.
Depending on pricing, you can also try finding a cheaper psu (though not recommended) since you have an APU

I'd personally get an 8GB DDR4 stick and wait for DRAM to come down in price.

Try going around recycling depots and thrift stores to save on the miscellaneous stuff. I had a friend who worked at a local bottle depot and got me about 6-8TB of perfectly fine HDDs
for free during the 2 months that he worked there.

Where there is a lack of money and a will, there's a way :)

Oh and don't forget to look on your local second-hand trading websites!

1 - You need DDR4 ram for Ryzen CPU.

2 - Why do you need 2nd cooler? Your CPU comes with one in the box.

Overall its not a "gaming PC". Its more of a office PC since you don't have a dedicated GPU.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus TUF Gaming B650-Plus / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Zotac RTX 5090 SOLID OC/ x2 WD_BLACK NS770 2TBs/ Corsair HX1000i/ NZXT H5 Flow

This is purely anecdotal, but I'd highly recommend a different PSU, I have one of those in my little brother's PC and I find it to be on the louder side for a budget PSU.
You do need the DDR4 for Ryzen as others said, also with an APU the faster the RAM the better. My old A10 suffered on slower RAM.
If your going to get a aftermarket cooler, go for the hyper 212 evo.
If a warranty isn't a deal breaker for you, and you don't mind having older hardware pick up an old Dell pre-built with an i5 in it and add a SSD, GPU, and maybe a PSU.

Check this out. This is a video I saw where someone actually used this processor as a gpu and overclocked it without needing a dedicated gpu and played AAA titles pretty well. I'm switching the ram to this , and I'm getting rid of the mousepad. I'm not sure if I need to change the psu though since I am going to be overclocking. Could a cheaper one still overclock well? But besides that, anything else I need to fix? Total price right now is $660.80

I'm keeping the ssd because I may be needing the speed in the future, because I plan on using this rig also for programming.

That's a good decision, cause I've had an i5 6400 be out performed by an A10-7870k in photoshop (CC 2017) all because the i5 machine's hard drive was pegged at 100%
Check this PSU out you're only using 150 watts without an OC.
Also have you thrown your PC into partpicker for a quick check on prices, I'm only asking cause all your links point to amazon?
