xbox 360 slim issue

My dad asked me to look at his xbox 360 slim. he says its having issues reading movie disks and some games have really really slow load times when trying to start the games. is this something drive/lens related? he ran a lens cleaning disk through it about a week ago and had no change. i know very little about the 360s being a playstation/pc guy myself

Yeah, sounds like the DVD-Drive...

If you don't destroy the casing this is an easy fix.  You can get the Xbox 360 media drives easily and affordably.  Right now I am dealing with an Xbox 360 FAT that has a media drive issue.
