I’m looking to get a gaming PC that can run fortnite and other games as well my budget is 500 dollars with a monitor.

Get a used Dell OptiPlex, throw in a decent GPU (someone else could help you choose as you're talking to someone who still uses a 550Ti... clearly out of touch with the GPU landscape) and you're good to go.
