the PSU with more than enough wattage to power something three times as powerful, just get the 450w version.

2200G and 8GB of DDR4 2400 are like the bare minimums for a gaming system, but you have a motherboard that's overkill and expensive.

I think the system is ok, but you will probably run into issues with your 8 GB of ram. I am talking from experience... Windows is using more ram idle every day.

You will definitely be bottlenecked by GPU power.

8GB is fine

Very strange motherboard choice...just go for the ASrock Pro4, should be cheap/effective

You want like 3000mhz RAM at minimum

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

What do you do on your PC? 8 GB is the bare minimum. Open more than 5 chrome tabs and multiple VS code windows and your pc WILL slow down. The overhead for Windows 10 is already 4GB when idle. Please tell me what you do on your pc to minimize ram usage that much.

I have a 1070 and 4790K and my games are now bottlenecking on my 8GB of ram. (And, yes I know my GPU is way overkill for the CPU but i got a good deal on it.)

I have 16GB and I usually sit at 10GB of usage but I have a LOT of stuff opened. If I close it down I am at something like 5GB max.

And I dont use Chrome, I use Vivaldi which also runs on Chromium and I keep usually 20+ tabs opened.

There is nothing wrong with 1070 + 4790k, I run 1080ti + 4770k

Look, 4GB of RAM with so many tabs opened.
