2 Different GPU

Hi! Is it possible to use 2 different Graphics Card? For Example Nvidia 9400 GT 1GB and Gtx 1050?

cards from the same manufacturer so long apart (in release time) could cause driver bugs, in which a new driver bugs out the old card, an old driver bugs out the new card.

You can. Not sure what you could use this combination of these cards for except for driving extra monitors.

I used 1080ti for gaming and 1050 for recording via OBS using NVENC.

You can use them independently form each other. without any problem.

However, an SLI setup is not possible. To run SLI or Crossfire on your system, you need a few things: a compatible motherboard and a "bridge" that connects the two cards together (these usually come with your motherboard or video cards). In SLI, you need two cards that have the same GPU chip — for example, two GTX 1050s. They don't have to be from the same manufacturer, they just have to both be GTX 1050s. So your 9400 GT and GTX 1050 won't be able to run SLI though.

anything below the 1070 does not have SLI connectors, and not like it's a good way to increase performance in games either.

Hahaha, didn't even think about that when I was answering.

Another requirement to run SLI (besides the compatible motherboard) is indeed havin compatible graphics cards
