Hi, do you know of any good midi sequencer apps for iOS?

Requirements:

Midi recording via the lightning port

Midi out

Play a music track when I'm recording midi in the same "window"

I'm going to use it to output midi to a dmx controller to control stage lights.

Edit: I did find an app called meteor that can output midi but it doesn't look very modern and it would be appreciated if you could find an app with a more modernized look.

EditEdit: I did purchase it tho so I wasted 25$

There's GarageBand, but I don't know about MIDI capabilities on the mobile app.

You can use garage band with a midi keyboard but it can't output midi

You might need something like FL Studio or Logic Pro then...

Wow FL Studio looks so much nicer than Meteor, should have spent my money on that. Damn impatience. It's even cheaper for heaven's sake.

It's on my software wishlist.

From what I've seen, it's one of the best DAWs there is.

Do you think Apple would be nice and let me have a refund??? :/

I mean if you're still able to get a refund, most companies don't allow refunds past 30 days since the day of purchase.

Worth a try, though.

This might be a little bit OT, but if you are into FL Studio, checkout some of the Martin Garrix clips, very inspiring :)

Nvm fl studio doesn't actually support midi out so I'll stick to the meteor thing for now

Logic Pro might have MIDI out, I'll go look that up.

EDIT: So Logic Pro seems to support MIDI out, but it's rather finicky and can be a bit of work to get working.
