Do I need a new Router?

Hello. I have thought about upgrading my Wireless Router but every time I kept asking the same question: "do I really need this?"

I have 30Mbps internet in 2-floor house. From modem cable goes to TP-Link WR940N (for downstairs usage) and from this router, the cable goes to TP-Link WR841N (for upstairs usage). Whole house is covered with Wi-Fi signal from either router. At home, we use 5 smartphones, 1 Laptop, 1 Android TV and 1 PC (pc and tv are connected via ethernet cable). My choice was TP-Link AC1200 Dual Band Router, but isn't it really necessary for people with faster internet speed and who want to extend their Wi-Fi signal range? Correct me if I am wrong.

Get a range extender not a new router. Should be $20-$50 depending on quality and distance Nvm i didn't read.  Get a dual band router so some can use 2.4ghz and some can use 5ghz while either selling both or keeping 1 extra router.

With that internet speed , i would't upgrade my wifi ,if you still determined to upgrade your wifi solution i suggest Ubiquiti ac lite i have two in my home(also two floor) and never been happier.
