Slightly faster cpu @ 1.4, 802.11 AC wifi, gigabit ethernet that is actually capped at 300mbits/s due to the USB bus I think, and that's pretty much it

Oh and POE, PowerOverEthernet, which might come handy

NeXTcube 12400 Z690M ITX 64GB SN770 6600XT Sugo16 12.5

NeXTserver 9400 H310N ITX 32GB SN350 5500XT Fara R1 12.5

Thank you for this info. Do you think it is worth it over the Model B? The price difference is around $8 - $10.

Oh, and before I forget. Does the B+ have a size difference from the Model B? Would cases that fit the Model B work with the Model B+?

Hey, no prob, we are here to help :)

It is totally up to you, I would get the newer version only because it's new and the features might be useful in the future, you never know what your next project could be right?, RPI's are great for tinkering and learning new stuff without being afraid of breaking it, so my suggestion is to go for it and have fun. I have 4 RPI's 3 B that I've used to practice how to setup a kubernetes/docker server and as a mini lab to learn MPI, so, PowerOverEthernet might have been handy to me, I had to get an anker multi charger that could provide enough amps in order to power the 4 pi's + an extra controller.

I think the cases are compatible yes

One thing you should note is the new RPi 3 B+ has firmware that's configured differently than all previous models and uses the "stretch" file system so pre-built images that were written for earlier models won't work on the new B+.  There's new versions of Raspbian and Retropie that work with all models.
