Hi Guys

I don't know what is wrong with my gaming pc. My pc feels very laggy, not in terms of fps, but in terms of visible smoothness. I've experienced a lot of delay with my keyboard and mouse. When I'm moving my mouse it feels like its floating on my mousepad, which is very annoying when I play FPS games like CSGO, which requires very little input lag.

Can someone help me with this issue?

I'm currently running with this setup.

PS: I use normal stock cooler for my cpu.

My mouse and keyboard are working perfectly on my laptop, and I've reinstalled windows 10 multiple times.Problem is still there :/

Have you tried turning it off and then on again? I don't know all that much about computers yet, but maybe I can help, have you tried opening a task manager to see if anything is using a lot of Ram/Cpu or something?

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.

Hi @jco,

your idle temp seems a little high I have a 7700K currently idle at 37ish, first of all make sure all the programs are closed and open the task manager just as @TheClueLessMajority suggested, that way we can try to find what is holding your system back

What sort of monitor are you using. Go onto display settings and then advanced display settings then check on then monitor tab and make sure that your refresh rate is the highest it can be set to.

Try plug your monitor that you use for the PC with the input lag issues into the laptop and see if there is still lag. If there is lag, then your monitor just has an extremely high input lag. This is most common on TVs and causes that floating effect.
