S8+ Missing - Help?!

On sunday, 2 days ago, i dropped my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus in the lake accidentally while kayaking and did not notice it until 5 or 10 minutes later, where it would have dropped is less than 4 feet deep, but it is a pretty large area that it could have dropped. I went back and forth over where i thought it was for hours trying to get my Gear S3 Frontier to automatically connect to it so i had an idea of where it was, so i could dive in and search for it. No luck. Previous to this i had turned off location services to save battery. Any ideas as to what i can do to find my $800 phone that is in an OtterBox case at the bottom of the lake?

is the Otterbox case water proof? I would think at this point the phone likely shut off from battery drain. I would wager that its a 100% loss at this point and wont be found.

unless you set up a find my phone feature, as the kids say these days " ya played your self" but honestly sorry man that sucks

.................... yeah man sorry maybe ask your service provider to do a GPS trace on the phone? they might be able to with your permission i dunno but that would probably just tell you its in a lake not very accurately where anyways, the easiest way to find it now would be a dive suit and time
