Hi LTT,

I recently build a new beast and running into some problems with my setup.

Problem description:

Right after the Windows 10 installation wants to reboot for the first time it crashes into a BSOD with one of many messages such as "Unexpected Kernal Mode Trap" and "MEMORY_ALLOCATION".

I suspected this to be a faulty RAM stick and I memtested them with Memtest86+

One stick returned 0 errors after 4 tests, the other stick had some errors, so I continued testing with a single stick, the one that didn't give errors.

I tried reinstalling Windows 10 and the same BSOD still happens.

I can run W10 and boot it up just fine, but it randomly BSOD's in one of many different messages, which tells me it's most likely a hardware error.

I tried another USB stick as bootable media to install Windows 10 with, thinking it might be the installation files are getting corrupted on the other USB stick since it's an old stick, but to no avail, it still crashes.

Note: I had to flash my motherboard as the Ryzen CPU was not being detected. I never reached POST until I installed an older generation CPU and flashed the motherboard to the newest BIOS Version.
