Hello guys.I ordered i5 8400 for 145e,crucial balistix ram 2x8gb 2400mhz and asus rog b360-g gaming,and alredy have gtx 970.I had before i5 3450 and i will give it to my dad.Will i see improvement over fps, because i had problem with i5 3450,it stuttered alot in ac origins,wildlands and other cpu games.And one more question.Can i oc ram to 2666mhz because its fabric at 2400mhz.

I5 11400f

Msi Rtx 2060 Gaming Z

Gigabyte aorus 2x8gb CL18 3600mhz

8x12cm fans sama rgb

Corsair CX650F Rgb

Ssd 128gb toshiba

2tb of wd green hdd

Hp omen 25 144hz 1080p

Not sure, overclocking past officially stated frequencies are never guaranteed.

yes the 970 game well at 1080p and the modern demanding games will bring a i5 3450 to it's knees in no time flat...the gaming experience overall in demanding games will for the most part be noticeably improved with a 6 core coffee lake processor...it's a worthy upgrade.

 

For RAM, you can only overclock it with Z series board, and it's not worth it...don't worry about it...its fine.
