My laptop is starting to show its age so I am starting to plan a new build.

Budget: ~$500 USD

Use: Web browsing, web development, programming, 3D modeling, some games here and there

Monitors: I just plan on using this with one monitor

OS: Already have an copy of Windows 7 (not included in budget)

I'm a COMPLETE noob at this, so this probably has a ton of problems, but here is my current parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/catman232/saved/3eEb If anyone has any resources or suggestions that'd be really appreciated!

Maybe get this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121801

I am not too sure how it will perform though against that GTX 650

G-Sync is something I am going to want in the future so AMD isn't really an option, but thanks for the suggestion :)

G-sync doesn't support the 650. You need at least a 650 Ti BOOST for that.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/
