I remember Linus or someone else talking about another trait that the 840 EVO drive has against the 840 Pro.

It can use a small portion of its TLC memory as SLC for small transfers and it has RAID which uses your system ram to speed up small transfers pertaining you have 2GB+ of ram and it can only use what ram you have free and is not in use by other.

I remember Linus or someone else talking about another trait that the 840 EVO drive has against the 840 Pro.

That is probably RAPID but its now on the Pro as well.

I think you mean Rapid. Linus talked about it in the Wan show. (But know the pro also has rapid)
