Motherboard Swap

Hey guys I have a gaming PC I am quitely proudest build I've ever done but due to future condition I need to move. I have two questions;

 

1) my system is an AMD based;

CPU: AMD 8350@4.8

RAM: 16GB @2133

MB: Asus M5A99X

GPU: Nvidia evga 550Ti SLI(I know but Star Craft 2 its my most demanding game)

Storage: Samsung 840 PRO 250GB x2

PSU: Corsair TX850M modular

Audio: Syba 7.1 PCI-Express

 

If I swap my MB to a asus M5A78L would there be a extreme performance drop?

 

and since I am switching my MB to an older version would I be able to OC my CPU?

Erm well...

 

The asus M5A78L  cant support 2133Mhz RAM so you will need to downclock it to 2000Mhz

 

 

You WONT  be able to SLI on that board either it only has one PCI X16 slot so you may as well throw your other card away.
