MSI GE72 2QE

Hey guys new here, been sub'd to Linus for a while now but didn't know he had his own forums!!! how cool! but anyway to cut to the chase. I bought a MSI GE72 2QE Apache today for $400. it comes with an intel i7 4720HQ @ 2.6GHZ but i have it chillin on 3.6 ghz with 47 W  with no issues. Mind you i don't know a clue about overclocking or anything i just had the guy reset it which he did to windows 10 and ive just been messing with whatever i know wont mess up the laptop Now id like to know if i got a good deal on this or not? also it has a 500 GB hard drive but everywhere i look online said it came with a 1T HD.... also has no ssd which im about to put one in the cd Drive and just take that out. but does this support m.2 SSD drives or should i just stick to my plan and take out the CD drive and put in a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD that i picked up for brand new $50.  any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! thanks again in advance!!!
