Essentially I'm looking for daily driver headphones that will be primarily used for listening to music while walking to class, watching youtube on my laptop, and walking around in public(such as the grocery store) I obviously prefer bluetooth because I hate using the little iphone dongle even though I have like 3 of them, but if you guys think that the sound quality will be significant enough I will take a wired version. I know very little to nothing about headphones and my purchasing of them is usually through other people and reviews.

Budget - $300

Location- U.S.

Source - Iphone 8+ and laptop

Requirements for Isolation - Mainly used walking to class, at work, or going shopping. Isolation is preferred but not necessary.

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes

Preferred Type of Headphone - Doesn't matter

Preferred tonal balance - Prefer them to be a little more bass heavy but balanced is fine.

Past headphones - Jaybird X3- I love the customization and the fit, the issue I had was I would lose them from time to time.

Preferred Music - Rap, dubstep, classic rock, and pretty much anything I can get my hands on. Specifically songs like Highway to hell, Post Malone's new album, and usually a youtube dubstep mix(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfrRJYC4z6I)

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - I'm hoping they could get louder then my X3s could and I wouldn't complain if they battery life lasted a little long but 6 hours was plenty.

Either one works for me, I've done the earbud route my whole life but I'm always prepare to change because from what I understand the sound quality is better

I like the crossfade wireless. The sound quality is pretty average but jesus christ you could drop these things of a mountain and still be fine. For earbuds the hd-1 is a good choice
