Losing even half of the internet speed

Even though i stand next to the router i have half of the max internet speed. Any reason behind it? I reset router, i have full speed but again it drops after a minute or two.

What do you get over wired?

 

What speeds are you getting? What speeds do you pay for?

 

What router? What wifi access point? What wifi reciver?
