Is it ok to wash case game with water?

Defunct Lizard
Go to solution Solved by Septimus,

Unless it's necessary, then I would just use a damp cloth, but if you do soak them in water, just be sure to let them dry out completely.

I keep seeing people wash dusty fans with water. Simple question, should I be concerned if I do this?

Please don't argue with me, I am just trying to help, or be helped. (we are all humans right?)

As long as you let them dry out completely before you plug them back in, it'll be fine.

I wouldn't clean fans with water. Heatsink, yes as it doesn't have any electronics. But with anything with wires, moist cloth is quite enough. You don't want so much water that you'd need dry cloth to get rid of it. Just droplets that dry while you are wiping other parts of case.
