soft reset dont always work.

it should

Hi Guys,

quick question.

i was previously using the artic silver thermal paste on my ryzen 3 1200 which also was using 8gb hyperx with 2133mhz and a mushkin 2400mhz 8gb.

So this weekend i did a weekly clean up of my gaming rig and re pasted with thermal grizly kryonaut and switched the hyperx out for a similar mushkin 2400mhz 8gb.

So back to the question is it normal to have an idle temp of 30c under loaf it goes up to at least 40 and for some dumb reason my fortnite game crashes with saying system ram error.

I didnt change my ram timing in my bios and was still running at 2133mhz.

But besides that everything is running fine.

So, the memory is mismatched.  Is any of the memory on the QVL for the mobo?  Maybe these things are contributing to the problem.  Just sayin........

the memory was previously mis matched so i set it to the lowest speed of both ram which was 2133mhz instead of the 2400mhz.

After the weekly cleaning ive made bboth modules match by swapping out the mis matched one.

but i didnt change the timing speed on the bios to 2400 yet.

Try reset the BIOS through reset CMOS. The easiest way to do so is to remove the CMOS battery and leave the system alone for a minute.
