I would suggest you to go with the browns because they have the close feel of blues (tactile) without producing the clicky sound like Dave said. If you want a tenkeyless, meaning no numpad, I would go for a CM Quickfire Rapid. If you want a full sized budget mechanical keyboard, I would go for the Quickfire TK which merges the arrow keys, delete keys etc. with the numpad if you want White LED backlighting and a Quickfire Pro if you want a normal full sized keyboard and Red LED backlighting. If you want a full keyboard with no backlighting, I would go for a Ducky Zero.

Browns are very nice, I have felt almost every Cherry MX switch, except green, and browns are my favorite. I recommended the DAS Professional S. It's a very clean looking keyboard, with very solid construction. IF your a heavy gamer, and need macros, I would look into finding a nice Ducky somewhere. Cooler master makes nice keyboards too.

What do you plan to do most? Gaming? Typing?

I am using reds for gaming right now and I love them. The tactile bump in the browns and blues always annoyed me so I went with reds, they also have a lower actuation force, which I like.

I recommend you try a couple different types before buying. I got a Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid with blues as my first mechanical keyboard, but I didn't like the blue switches(the actual keyboard was great). Ended up getting a Corsair K90 with red switches.

I have the Mionix Zibal 60

http://mionix.net/products/zibal-60

It features mx cherry blacks and has a very strong design. It is very simple which some people like and some hate. The green led back lit keys are nice, but again depens on your taste.

This has been the best keyboard i've owed by far, and the support from mionix has been great. I broke the wrist rest in a move. Mionix sent one free of charge.

Only reason I'd change would be out of boredom or to try a different mx cherry colour.

I have decided that i'm going to order a sample, just to be sure i'm completely happy. :) I think i'm going to go with a Filco just still unsure about the switch.

Thank you for all the suggestions. :D

Heres a guide on mechanical keyboards showing you the different switches and keycaps that are used on these keyboards: www.overclock.net/t/491752/mechanical-keyboard-guide
