Well, check for Temps then. I don't think HT adds so much to the Temps that it starts throttling though.

What do you mean you don't have a dedicated cooler for the CPU? The CPU needs to have a cooler to remotely run beyond the speed of pitch tar, assuming it doesn't flat out refuse to boot.

Please don't shout at me dude. I can hear you just fine.

Get Msi Afterburner or HWMonitor.

What heatsink do you have exactly?

With no fan? You should definitely get a fan on that.

But to answer your question about whether or not this will affect the life of the part, yes, yes it will. Higher temperatures will degrade parts at an accelerated rate. The rule of thumb is for every 10C you put on the part, its life expectancy drops by half.

not as in a air cooler it has a heat sink yes a fan on the sides but i was wondering if i needed a more effiecient cooling system as in an air cooler or a better case

That is literally the definition of air cooler. Anything that's not using some sort of liquid is an air cooler.

Just check the Temps (during load pls) and then we'll see if you need a new cooler or if there's something else wrong.

Leave that HWMonitor open and run the Cinebench cpu test. Then post picture of the HWMonitor.
