Side business builds

Hi there people. In my previous build logs I have presented you my personal builds. In almost every post I have mentioned that I do have a small side business where I do pre-builts and then sell them for a small profit. I would like to present you today some of them.

Hope you like "my taste" as I don't have orders on them and usually build them to my likings. Also, I cannot choose a themed build as I usually build with the components I get for a good deal.

Those are some really neat builds!

Do you buy the parts yourself and then sell the PC or wait for someone to commission you a build?

Thank you.

I do buy the parts out of my money (personal investment), do the builds, put ads on different websites and wait to sell. Very rarely I get people to order one. It's easier for them to buy it pre-built as it's done and ready to start playing.

The builds are nice, but one semi-common theme that i noticed, is that you are only putting 1 ram stick in some of the builds, and im trying to figure out why?  Build 1 and 3 are both setup that way with just one 16gb stick.  You want to do ram in at least matching pairs so you get the dual channel capabilities, and 4 (or more) for systems capable of quad channel.

Sure he knows that as the build list for each states that it is in fact not 1 stick.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

To answer your question:

1. I have bought a kit of 2x16gb for a decent price and wouldn't want to use all 32gb in one build.

2. Quote from GamersNexus about dual channel vs single channel

"Gamers, mainstream users, and office users shouldn't care. Actually, at the end of the day, the same rule applies to everyone, simulation pro or not: It's density and frequency that matters, not channeling. Quad- and better channels theoretically have a more profound impact, but this is in-step with the increased density of kits that are targeted for quad-channel platforms. If you want to push speed, density and frequency should be at the top of your list. Generally, when you're spending that kind of money, you're going with a multi-channel kit of two or more anyway, but the point still stands."

I agree that it would be nice to benefit from dual channel but it's not always possible and in the same time gamers are not that affected, considering that's my target audience.

Also I am aware that it's just 2133Mhz but I bet it can be overclocked at least up to 2400Mhz and considering that the CPUs are locked SKU that should be more than enough.

Makes sense.  Aside from using dual channel or quad, ive always been a fan of multiple sticks just in case one goes bad, at least you still have another to get you by until you replace them.  Nice builds none the less, i was just curious :)
