trying to access foreign sites

So basically my problem is that many people on this forum posts asking about a computer product, and post a local link. And when i open  these links i either get a "this site has decided to block your country for no reason" error message or just the site's server decides to not send any information my way, resulting in the page just not loading. And then all the other people comment about this thing, even though i know that they definately are not in the same country as the OP.

So my question is that if all the people on this forum have VPN's, or is my country the only blocked one.

 

Because i dont see any comments saying that the site is blocked for them, it appears that only me can't access the site.

 

inb4  use Private Internet Access comments: i really don't have any need for a vpn, no need to pour my money down the drain.

Somewhere in europe, but it's not just netonnet, some other swedish computer sites have also blocked me, which is absurd.

Super wierd that they do that It may have something to do with the copyswede tax that we have ?  (they add a percentage to everything that has a storagedevice becuse they see that we download alot of stuff so they give back money to original creator of the conten) its maybe to protect you guys from paying our tax?

I’m also from Europe, Belgium to be more specific. However, I don’t use a VPN (actually have one, not really using it) and I can access all of those sites without any problem.

 

What country are you from?

That's a really weird problem. I used my unfiltered connection and then connected to NordVPN -- both work fine.
