i have a request from linus that he makes a new video and its baiscly since he lives in canada so there must be places that are very cold 

 

he would buy a system that doesnt need much cooling but try to test it fanless in such a place , would it run? or is it just straight dumb?

Its not a smart idea because if you put it in a cold space, you risk condensation build up as you heat up and cool down which in turn can and will fry the PC.

Could maybe work if you used watercooling and had radiators on the outside. the downside is if it gets sunny you are about to toast your system. Actually having the pc outside without plastidipping it (or even with plastidip) is not an great idea. 

 

Then again its linus, and they are supposed to be the topgear of pc building. They need to do more idiotic stuff

even ignoring that idea won't work, what would be the ultimate point? We're not talking an expensive part here, fans are under 10 bucks for most
