Hello all

I would like to know when the new 1180 gtx comes out or if it costs to buy a 1080ti today? what would be the best option and if I decided for the 1080ti which would be the best model and how long would it last in 1440p 165z

ty

I'd wait for the 1180. The 980 TI is on level with this generation's 1070, and the 11 series is bringing Volta (I think) so you'd be better off spending money on a brand new power card when it comes out.

My profile picure is real. That's what I look like in real life. I'm actually a blue and white African Wild Dog.

Ryzen 9 5900X - MSI Ventus 2x OC 3060 Ti - 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz CL16 - ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming ITX/ax

EVGA CLC 280 + 2x140mm NF-A14 - Samsung 850 EVO 500GB + WD Black SN750 1TB - Windows 11/10 - EVGA Supernova G3 1000W

IMO its only worth buying a new top end card, within a couple months of its release.

Nothing wrong with a 1080 Ti it still is a beast card, it'll sit right in the middle between a 1170 and a 1180, it's up to you get one or not.
