Asus b85m-g fans

Hey ltt.

i was just wondering if there is anything you Can do regarding fan speeds?

So my CPU cooler i Can turn Down to 20% fan speeds at idle but with the chassis fan i Can only get to a minimum of 60%

Any suggestions?

You could remove it or solder a resistor to one of the power wires. Other than that, there's not much else you can do.

Use SpeedFan. The fan control software in Asus boards during that time frame was wonky about it's DC range

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Okay so i just installed speedfan but i cant see any of my fans? I read something about pwm 3 pin connecter and that it wont work with that or something.

SpeedFan can be a bit of a hassle to set up but is pretty great once it is.
